It’s October 1st, which means it’s the first day of Build Days! Today I thought I would start out pretty simple, so I’ve taken to doing some site maintenance and cleaning it up a little.

I tidied up and changed my About Me to be a little more detailed, and talk a little more about who I am and what my hobbies are. Before I changed it up, it was short, had no photos, and felt awkward to read at points.

I also edited my home page a tad as well, changing the date of the blog posts to be monospaced so all the titles are nice and lined up, as well as configuring starred articles (stolen from my boyfriend) that have been in the code for a little while now. The other main change I made to the site overall is decrease the width to 700px, to make it a little easier to read.

I also want to take this time to just talk about some other stuff. One thing I wish I could do is follow through with my video project ideas. I think my issue lies in the fact that I’m just bad at recording everything, and then bad at being on camera. I really really want to try and get better at that, and this month is the perfect opportunity. Even if it’s the same content that I would type out here, I need to get better at it.

I was going to take some pictures on my way to and from school, but unfortunately it started raining :(
